The last day of the Time Is Always Now Philadelphia Museum of Art Exhibit is February 9.
I will be leading a group of folks through a personal tour.
We will explore themes of resistance, double consciousness through the eyes of Fanon and DuBois, discuss Black Wall Street and its Afro-Indigenous Roots, learn about Queen Nanny and the Maroons. Plus so much more.
I only have spots for 20 folks, please purchase your tickets and then shoot me an email blackwomenblackhistory@gmail.com letting me know that you're ready to go. I will send you a confirmation email that you are in the group and will have a name tag ready for you when you arrive. Please be on time. As a reminder, this is the same day as the Super Bowl which starts after 6. Our meeting location is the Rocky Statue at 12:10 pm.
