Teaching Independence Conference: Monuments & Memories McNeil Center, Penn GSE & Museum of the American Revolution | March 2022 Bringing together K-12 teachers, university scholars, and public historians, the Teaching Independence conference explored the challenges of teaching the Declaration of Independence and the nation's founding in the 21st century. Featured on the "Monuments and Memories" panel (at the 1:16:00 mark), Keziah presented her instructional presentation and curriculum strategies for critically analyzing historical monuments in the classroom.

'Time to Stand Up': Mother's Day March Rallies for Peace, Children Caught in International Conflict WHYY News | May 12, 2025 Speaking at a Mother's Day rally at LOVE Park, Keziah joined local advocacy organizations to stand in solidarity with mothers experiencing the devastating impacts of global conflicts. Emphasizing the universal bond of motherhood and family, she shared her profound empathy for families navigating loss across Sudan, the Congo, and Palestine.

Academic Freedom and the Palestine Exception Swarthmore College (The Cooper Series) | February 5, 2025 Speaking alongside former Muhlenberg College professor Maura Finkelstein, Keziah participated in a featured conversation on the suppression of pro-Palestine speech in educational institutions. She discussed her own experiences facing retaliation at the School District of Philadelphia, the true purpose of collective education, and the necessary sacrifices involved in resisting the status quo and advocating for marginalized students.

Afro Day at Philadelphia's Northeast High School The Philadelphia Inquirer | April 16, 2023 After critical discussions in Keziah’s African American History class regarding the historical connotations of Black hair, her students were inspired to create Northeast High School’s first-ever "Afro Day." The event empowered students to celebrate their natural hair and eliminate historical stigmas.

Students, Teachers March for Racial Equity Reform in Philly Schools WHYY News | July 12, 2020 As a core organizer with the Racial Justice Organizing Committee, Keziah helped unite educators to demand immediate structural changes, restorative justice funding, and anti-racist training in the district.
